Re: New 3D printed models from Lothian Railway Models

I too am confused about "Whatsapp" and don't want to go down that road - don't ask me why - must be an Age thing ! Again returning to the "promotion" of Gauge O Modelling - 7mm - should this be not covered in The True Line, and not a few words, but a Full "Glossy" Page ...

Re: New Model Wagon Range

Are we Promoting this enough ! Should it have a "Full Page" in the True Line ? I must have missed this somewhere along the way, and how many others are not aware of these Wagons in 4mm and 7mm scale. Worth having another think, on how we promote Caledonian Railway modelling. David Blevins.

CR STAFF LIST I have added the names from the CR St Rollox Works Staff Book to our Caledonian Railway Staff List, now over 38, 500 entries. It does not seem that long ago, in fact January, 2021, when I was very pleased we had reached 17, 350 entries, it has certainly grown since then, which is all d...

Re: A job description puzzle

I was wondering about that myself, but was not sure how they Filled the Engine Shed Water Tanks. It looks like a better definition of the "Pumping Engine Man" and I would agree with the last entry. Could we have found the duties for the ex Engine Driver Thomas Huggon, who must have been ac...

Re: A job description puzzle

"Pumping Engine Man" is listed occasionally in the Caledonian Railway Staff List in a number of different Locations with Engine Sheds. I have come to the conclusion, rightly or wrongly, it was a position given to Engine Drivers as "Light Duties" and was in fact "Filling the ...
