Mike, it looks a bit like the WCJS diag 13 saloons. I only have the small photos in your book though.

Tony, there is nothing on the Gauge 0 Guild website, if you continue not to get any replies, then it might be worth dropping Jackie Kneeshaw an email.

Well done Ross. Let me know when you are operational & I could let the Gauge 0 Guild know, to include you in their list of traders.

Powsides Scottish transfers

Having had a chat with Powsides, I have listed (probably) their Scottish wagon transfers. I have not included which wagon to use as the base, details on the Powsides website & photographs. If anyone spots more, I can amend the list. Hope this is usefull.

Identify a Colliery

A topic on RMweb is trying to identify the return to colliery of a Brechin Co-op coal wagon. People are thinking Fife, but would it be more likely to be a Lanarkshire colliery for a CR registered wagon ? Any thoughts ?

Re: Callander - what is going on here?

My initial thought was that with the numbers on both platforms they were waiting for someone important to pass. However, the crowds are on only part of both platforms, so seem to suggest waiting for trains or to have their photograph taken !

Re: CR 10 Ton Hopper Wagon

I have been reading an account of the anti-submarine warfare off southern Ireland in WW1. While a lot of the cargoes are not identified, there is nothing I can find about ore carriers, or ships from Spain. Not sure when the Cumbrian iron ore was worked out, but I think that it is still a definite po...

Not to be run on the Caledonian Rly

In RMweb, there is a topic concerning GEC potable engine wagons which were not to be run on the CR. www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/165347-not-to-be-run-on-the-caledonian-rly " In Railway Modeller for 1962 November, there are some drawings of GER wagons, drawn by Sir Eric. The last o...

I have discovered a copy of the price list & catalogue in an unbuilt box. The castings & box are clean & pristine, some might be tempted to keep it unbuilt, but this will appear an an extra CR cattle wagon.

Blue saloon instructions

Does anyone have any kit instructions for the blue saloon ? I have a sheet of etches and could probably figure out where they all go, but some instructions would be useful. Not sure if it is one of John B's etches. I have various photos & the diagram of the interior in Mike's Carriage Book. Many...
