INTRODUCTION OF WAGONS FOR PERISHABLE TRAFFIC

Post by MIKEWILLIAMS »

Hello all

As I can't get to the Archive, has anyone copies of the Working Timetables for 1896 and 1900 to hand? I know that, by the 1907 WTT, the modified Diagram 15 wagons were in traffic, but I'm trying to nail down when they were put in service. The place to look is in the Supplementary Appendix Instructions towards the back of the publication, under the heading VEHICLES WITH SMALL WHEELBASE. And, while you're looking, does meat van 38748 appear? It isn't listed in 1907.

Thanks - and stay well

Mike
