Found, as always looking for something else, was this 2015 edition of the Killin area local magazine with 3 pages about the railway to mark 50 years from closure.
A few hazy memory errors, but worth a read.
The rebuilt Junction station cottage is now quite visible from the Killin - Auchlyne road, but still unharvested forestry around the station itself.
