Loco Number Plates

Post by dumb buffer »

These have been mentioned recently on this forum; it might be appropriate to mention that I have a number of sets available at £1 a time. I rescued these from Ebay some time ago (there were no other bidders), with the intention of making them available to this group at about what I paid for them. They're quite good quality etches, but need cutting out from the surrounding sheet; some of the numbers seem odd in the particular styles to me, but I wouldn't claim to know. I attach an Excel spreadsheet with the list

Hi

What scale are they? If they are 4mm I would be interested in 4 of them (72, 123, 439 and 173) if they are available.

Hello Allan,

I would be interested in whichever are still available of Nos. 10, 110, 277, 439 (the second one!), 721 and 829.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to send you a PM as I haven't made 5 posts yet , although that'll be solved within the next 1 or 2 days.

And even if you have sold them all, thanks anyway for offering them here.

Neil

I've set aside Nos. 10, 110, 277, 439 and 829. 721 has gone, I'm afraid.

Assuming you can receive personal mails, I've sent you my address.
If you don't receive it, get back to me on [email protected]

Thanks Allan. The PM came through fine, but there is no attached Reply button, which I think is due to my small-but-rapidly-growing post count. It's nice that receiving PMs is enabled though - some thought put in by the software developers, methinks. I'll send you an E-mail anyway to let you know the dirt.

I wonder why so many 944 Class Wemyss Bay tank numberplates were included? - a lovely loco indeed, but too late for my chosen era. Not many people's choice of model I would've thought, especially being so localised. Idle ponderings though.

Hi Allan

didn't receive the PM, possibly a glitch as I'm in South Sudan at present (long story....)

Hopefully get it in the fulness of time

Paul

I thought I'd sent you a PM, but It's not in my "sent" folder; I've just tried to send you another, which is stuck in my "outbox". So try my own email

There's maybe something odd going on, since this message has already disappeared once!
