Would they have fitted these buffers to the Jumbo’s that went and came back from France?

Ok, a picture of the ROD buffers.
The surface finish is a bit grainy and the plastic rather brittle but they seem to be accurate. The preserved engines in australia had numbers close to some of those hired by the CR and were NBL builds.
