I understand that a member asked, at the meeting on Saturday, if these were painted blue.
The short answer is no

On the subject of ROD engines I have ordered some of these

Which do look like the ones fitted to the CR type.

I will give them a coat of primer and post a pic when they arrive

What I don’t understand is why they supply 6 buffers!

Ok, a picture of the ROD buffers.

The surface finish is a bit grainy and the plastic rather brittle but they seem to be accurate. The preserved engines in australia had numbers close to some of those hired by the CR and were NBL builds.
