A further mystery location
Can anyone help with this location, please?

Jim,
My suggestion is Sighthill East Junction looking from the line coming round from Springburn. The carriages are on sidings adjoining the old Garnkirk & Glasgow line, which by then was the access to St Rollox Works and Townhead goods. In the background are the Glasgow Corporation Germiston housing schemes - you can just make out the 1930s tenements nearer and the 1920s 'four-in-a-block' houses beyond. See attached map. I also attach two aerial photo shots.
