CRA7 - PHOTOGRAPHS

Photographs of the rolling stock, lineside features, buildings, and other operations of the Caledonian Railway and its successor organisations.
These photographs are from the combined collections of the members of the CRA plus those purchased as they become available. Loose photographs, up to A4 size are arranged in archival storage pockets in loose leaf binders, with each binder identified by Archive Number. All photographs and prints larger than A4 in size are stored together in CRA7/1/3/19.
Albums of mounted photographs are recorded as Albums.
Photographs on card backing are listed as Mounted.
Photographs which originated from particular collections have been separated out from the general albums are now stored as defined sets: CRA7/1/2/3, CRA7/1/3/23 and CRA7/1/3/25; other collections may be similarly separated in future.
